This policy applies to the Jeet Screen Recorder software and the website https://jsrecorder.com, operated by JS Recorder ("we", "us"). Our payment and licence server runs at adm.jsrecorder.com.

1. Your recordings stay on your computer

Videos, screenshots, audio and webcam pictures made with the app are created and stored on your computer. The app does not upload them to us.

2. Information we collect

• When you buy a licence: your name, email address and mobile number, the amount paid, any coupon used, and payment references (order ID, payment ID, or the UPI transaction ID and screenshot if you pay manually).
• For the free trial and licence checks: a random installation ID, a device identifier created from your computer (a one-way hash, not your files or name), a device name, the app version, activation and verification dates, and the IP address of each request, which we keep in security logs.
• When you contact us: your name, email address, subject and message.
• On this website: normal server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type). The website does not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.

3. Payment information

Online payments are processed by Razorpay on a secure page. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or net banking credentials. We receive the payment status and reference from the payment provider.

4. How we use information

• To start your free trial and to issue, activate and verify your licence.
• To process payments, send your licence key and give support.
• To prevent fraud and misuse of licences.
• To keep records required by law.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to run the service (such as the payment provider, our hosting provider and our email delivery service) and when the law requires it.

6. Retention

We keep licence and payment records for as long as your licence is valid and for the period needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Security logs are kept for a limited period.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law, and in line with the Indian laws that apply to us. Write to support@jsrecorder.com.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, restrict access to the admin system and store licence data on our server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The software is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
